Zed Hopkins is a multi-disciplinary artist working primarily as an actor, director and collaborator. His work has taken him from his hometown of Brisbane (Australia) all the way to Los Angeles, London, Tokyo and Singapore. As a current student of Pomona College in California, Zed is studying a liberal arts degree with a major in Theatre and a double minor in Visual Art and Media Studies.
Zed has a wealth of experience as an actor, writer, producer and director, both onstage and on camera. His most recent work has seen him touring a one-man show around Singapore and Australia as well as producing a hybrid art exhibition in his hometown of Brisbane.
Zed is currently working on several ventures in the realms of social media and hybrid performance and is always looking for opportunities to collaborate and/or contribute to both local and international projects.

THE CREATION COLLECTIVE
The creative collective is a collaborative project between Zed and his childhood friend Darren Reilly aiming to document the process of creation and education through a range of creative projects and inspiring conversation.
After two sold out shows is Brisbane in 2017 the hybrid art exhibition RAW. is set to be staged in Los Angeles in late 2018. A collaboration between 10 artists from around the world, RAW. is a truly unique creative experience, blurring the lines between creator and audience.
WELCOME TO MANHOOD
Welcome to Manhood is a one-man show developed in association with Giovanni Ortega and Method Productions (Singapore). Created after several workshops with Yoshito Ohno, a Butoh teacher in Tokyo, this show explores the synthesis of eastern and western theatrical techniques to challenge our contemporary definitions of masculinity.
LONDON DRAMATIC ACADEMY
A semester long study abroad program at one of London’s leading acting conservatories. Training included Meisner technique, Stanislavsky technique, Shakespeare, Butoh, Stage Combat, Period Dance, Movement, Voice & Dialect, Audition and Alexander Technique.
Chosen for public performances in partnership with Hampton Court Palace
